Icon usage rights

Applies to every icon downloaded from IconOcean, in any format (SVG, PNG or JPG), any color, and any size.

You may

• Use icons in websites, web apps, and mobile apps.
• Use icons in commercial products you sell, including ones built for clients.
• Use icons in print materials — packaging, posters, documents, presentations.
• Recolor, resize, rotate, or otherwise adapt an icon to fit your design.
• Use icons without crediting IconOcean or foozera, though a credit is always appreciated.

You may not

• Redistribute icon files themselves as a standalone icon pack, UI kit, or template — free or paid — where the icons (rather than your product) are the thing being sold or given away.
• Use an icon as a logo or trademark for a business, product, or organization in a way that could be confused with an official IconOcean or foozera mark.
• Claim you created the underlying icon shape yourself if you're distributing it further as a design asset (using it inside a finished product you built is fine).
• Use icons in content that violates our terms of use.

AI-assisted icons

Some icons in the library are produced with the help of AI models as part of a reviewed generation process, alongside hand-drawn icons. Both are covered by the same usage rights above — there's no separate license tier based on how an icon was originally drawn.

If an icon is later removed

We occasionally remove icons from the library, including ones that don't meet our quality bar after review. Removing an icon from the library doesn't revoke the rights above for copies you already downloaded before removal.
